White-browed Bulbul

Pycnonotus luteolus insulae, a subspecies of the white-browed bulbul (Pycnonotus luteolus), is found across Sri Lanka in forests and well-wooded lowland areas. It is easily recognised by its distinctive white brow and the yellow stripe on the underside of its tail.

Its diet primarily consists of insects, such as tree crickets, but it also feeds on fruits. These birds build bowl-shaped nests from twigs, where they typically lay clutches of two eggs.
