The Indian five-fingered frog (Euphlyctis hexadactylus) is commonly found in Sri Lanka, inhabiting a variety of aquatic environments, including brackish waters. This species is predominantly green, with a yellowish underside. Its diet is unusual, with a large portion consisting of foliage and flowers; however, it will also consume insects, particularly during its juvenile stage.
