Known for their iridescent blue and green plumage and the long train of feathers in males. They control insect populations and help disperse seeds in their ecosystems. Male peafowl, or peacocks, display their vibrant tail feathers during courtship rituals to attract females, known as peahens. These displays include fanning out their tail feathers and shaking them to create a rustling sound. Peafowl are omnivorous, feeding on grains, fruits, small reptiles, and insects. They are commonly found in forests, farmlands, and even near human settlements.
